Jake's Over the Top is a tiny burger joint that prides itself on its "over the top" shakes. We got there as it was getting dark and we were the only people there. Let me just say they had some of the fastest and the best service I have ever had eating out. We ordered two double cheeseburgers, fries, fry sauce (I'm from Utah, yum!) and of course, the Oreo shake.
Almost before we sat down they had brought the food and asked us if we needed anything. They were so nice!
And what makes this even better was the food was pretty tasty too. Especially the shake.
They brought out the shake and immediately we were impressed with the presentation. Lots of crushed Oreos. With big chunks. A good sign. No shake place we have seen yet had quite so many Oreos on top so we rated it a 4.5 out of 5.Price wasn't bad either. $4.19 for a pretty large shake. We gave it a 4.5 out of 5.
The taste was pretty good as well. It had a nice combination of ice cream and Oreo flavor throughout. We gave it a 4 out of 5.
The texture was perfect! It was thick and you definitely had to eat it with a spoon. But the best part was it had plenty of large Oreo chunks through the entire shake! Too often shakes will have no chunks or they are not mixed throughout and you have a shake with Oreo in parts and just vanilla ice cream in other parts. But not this shake! It was the perfect balance. We definitely gave it a 5 out of 5 for the texture.

For a grand total of 4.5!
This is one of the best shakes in Utah folks! It is in a four-way tie for number one!
